CONTEST: Win a Free Engagement Session!

Getting married?  Engagement photos are a great way to capture some memories in a stress-free way before your “Big Day.”  Engagement pictures should be fun and a way to express who you and your fiance are.  We are looking for the couple with the most unique idea for engagement photos.  Is there a special place where you met?  A favorite past-time you enjoy together?  We want to hear your creative ideas for your engagement session!  Did you meet at a Farmer’s Market?  Do you both like to bike?  Maybe you like to dance and your fiance likes to race cars.  Why not incorporate both?  The more creative, the better!  Check out our website: www.yourexpressivemoments.com.

1. Your name and fiance’s name

2.  Contact number

3.  Wedding date

4. Your idea(s) for a fun engagement session

5.  Possible locations for the session

We will accept emails until May 31st.  We will then pick 5 couples to be entered in the contest.  We will open voting to the public on our blog.  Voting will last for one week.  The top couple will receive a free engagement session, including 10 prints of their choice and souvenir cards for their wedding.

*Entrants must agree to sign a model release to allow their photos to be used for voting purposes and later website/advertising use by Expressive Moments Photography.  Photos will be taken in or around the Knoxville area.

Star 102.1 Dancing with the Stars

We are helping sponsor Star 102.1- Dancing with the Stars by photographing the event, coming up on April 23rd.  We will be selling pictures afterwards, with a proceed going to Children’s Hospital.  Our good friend Gretchen from 102.1 will be one of the dancers.   If you would like to help by donating:

The Results of the Best of 2008

Voting has ended, and we have our top 3 winners.  Congratulations to Brooke and Corey!  They won the contest with 153 votes out of 600.  They will receive a free 8×10 of their wedding picture and will be able to schedule a free mini-session in 2009.  Congratulations to our second and third place winners- Aiden and Ethan.  They were not far behind and will each receive a free 8×10.  Thanks to everyone who stopped by to vote.  I heard from a few of you that the voting got a bit competitive at times.  I hope you all had fun with it!  We look forward to seeing what great pictures 2009 will bring!

The Best of 2008!

We would like everyone’s help in voting for a favorite picture from 2008.  We have so many favorites from the year, that it was hard narrowing our selection down to the following pictures.  With a little help, we were able to choose our Top 15 from 2008.  Please vote below for your favorite picture!  The winner will recieve a free 8×10 of their photo, along with a free mini-session in the upcoming year.  This will include a package of one 8×10, two 5×7s, and 16 wallets.  Second and third place will each receive a free 8×10 of their photo.  Tell all your friends to come vote and help your picture win!  Thanks to everyone for helping make 2008 a great start for us!

The New Year

We’re starting off the New Year with a bang.  We would like to thank all of our friends and family for their support!  We appreciate you spreading the word and helping get our name out there!  Many of you have referred clients to us.  We would like to thank you by offering you some free prints either from a previous session or a new one.  If you have already referred someone to us, or if you do so this year, we would like to give you a mini-package including one 8×10, two 5×7s and 16 wallets.

We have also started off the New Year by upgrading our photo sessions to full price.  However, if you would like to take advantage of our 2008 discounted prices, contact us as soon as possible to schedule a tentative date for your session.

Drop-in Fall Photo Days…

We would like to welcome everyone to come out on October 18 or 19 for a fall photo day. We will be taking photos of kids, families, pets or couples in a fall setting.  We will have pumpkins, haybales, mums and all the fun fall decor.  It’s a great deal, so come on out to Kristy’s house and tell all of your friends!!

If you are viewing this blog, you probably already know that Kristy and Amy have started a photography business, Expressive Moments Photography.  We are on-location photographers, providing services at your home, favorite park or any special location.  We want to capture your special moments in life as if they were our own.
