Nutcracker!
I got to help my teacher shoot the Nutcracker on Ice last night. It was a challenging experience. There was not much light and fast-moving skaters are hard to capture just right. I think I got a couple of good ones. Here are a few of my favorites! Merry Christmas

UT Gardens
We went down to the UT Gardens for class this week and took some shots of a model. We practiced with light, flash, reflectors and backgrounds.

Portrait Class
I wanted to post a picture of the model we had in our portrait class on Monday night. She is beautiful! We were practicing using window, outdoor light and flash.

Bike Night
I got to tag along with my friend Chad who does freelance for The Knoxville News Sentinel. He was shooting bike nights at Wild Wings and Naterz for the Handlebars Magazine. It was a good time. It was fun to just go up and talk to people and take their pictures having fun. I also got to practice using my flash.

Ron’s House
We had a good time shooting today. We went to our portrait teacher’s house in Kingston for some natural light shooting. He has 24 acres with lots of pretty flowers, fields, ponds and decks–good spots for pics! We had 2 models, and took some of ourselves too! Here are a couple of my favorites. Kristy hasn’t seen them yet…I hope she likes!
